Sudanese Ambassador to Oman Announces Free Flights Home

Sudanese Ambassador to Oman, Essam Metwally, announced free flights home.
He said that during a video conference meeting chaired by the Minister of Finance and attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance and the national airline, the meeting concluded with free air transportation for all citizens holding expired visit and residency visas in all governorates of the Sultanate.
The ambassador also confirmed that the repatriation will begin on July 23, 2025. Metwally urged citizens covered by the decision to exempt them from fines to register directly at the embassy or at the offices of the Supreme Committee for Voluntary Return in the governorates to register and arrange for repatriation before the specified exemption period.
