Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and Oil Inspects Atbara Transformer Station

Dr. Mohi El-Din Naeem Mohamed Saeed Ali, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and Oil, inspected maintenance work at the Atbara Transformer Station. This came during his return from a tour of power stations in Khartoum State, which he visited with a high-level delegation led by Lieutenant General Engineer Ibrahim Jaber to prepare the environment for the return of citizens. He visited several transformer and distribution stations to urge workers to intensify efforts to restore electricity to the state. At the end of his visit and upon his return to Port Sudan, he inspected the Atbara Transformer Station, which had been shut down due to storms. He was received by the Director General of Distribution at the Electricity Ministry, Eng. Montaser Abdel Rahman, and a number of engineers and technicians. He checked on the progress of work and emphasized the need to expedite maintenance operations so that citizens can enjoy stable electricity supply.
