Sovereignty Council Adviser meets West Kordofan Governor

Sovereignty Council Adviser, Lieutenant-General Al-Sadiq Ismail Mahmoud, received the Governor of West Kordofan Major General (Rtd.) Muhammad Adam Jayed, to discuss the humanitarian situation in the state.
During the meeting, Lieutenant-General Al-Sadiq affirmed his great keenness to follow up on the conditions of the people of the state and the displaced, expressing the Council readiness to respond quickly to the demands of the citizens, in a way that contributes to restoring security and stability to West Kordofan, in addition to the return of the production wheel that prevailed in the state. Lieutenant-General Al-Sadiq Ismail Mahmoud stressed the need to unite efforts among all concerned parties to achieve comprehensive stability, alleviate the suffering of displaced citizens, and return a normal life to the state as soon as possible, noting that the coming period will witness urgent reinforcements in the humanitarian and relief fields, in order to improve the living conditions and provide the necessary support to the citizens of West Kordofan.
The Governor of West Kordofan confirmed, during his meeting with the Sovereign Council advisor, that the meeting discussed ways to provide support and relief to the displaced in the state.
