Drone Attack Foiled in River Nile State

Security forces’ anti-aircraft missiles in River Nile State thwarted a drone attack launched by the rebel Rapid Support Forces militia on Thursday, targeting Atbara Airport.
A senior official stated that the state’s security forces are aware and vigilant and were able to shoot down all drones without any losses.
He noted that the security committee holds regular meetings and fully performs its duties, warning that all targeting attempts are doomed to failure, God willing.
The official indicated that the drone squadron that attempted to target Atbara and its airport today came from the western Berber region, but that the anti-aircraft missiles were on the lookout.
He confirmed that the security situation in the state is stable and that the security forces are in a constant state of readiness, citing the downing of all the militia’s drones today, despite their large number.
