Northern State Governor Pledges to Overcome All Obstacles Facing the NHIF

The Governor of the Northern State, Major General Abdul Rahman Abdul Hamid Ibrahim, met in his office with the Director of the National Health Insurance Fund, State Branch, Dr. Shiraz Omar.

The Governor received a briefing on the Fund’s performance during the first quarter of this year, the obstacles and challenges it faces amidst the war, and the Fund’s plans for the next phase.

The Director of the National Health Insurance Fund, State Branch, explained that the Governor expressed interest and understanding in health insurance issues and the need to overcome all obstacles hindering the Fund’s work. This includes providing administrative requirements, such as fuel and alternative energy, for health centers and Health Insurance Fund pharmacies in localities to ensure the stability of health insurance services for citizens.
