GIS Moarns Former Director of the External Security Service,

Director General of the General Intelligence Service (GIS), Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufadal, mourned the late Major General Osman El Sayed Fadl El Sayed, former Director of the External Security Service, who passed away in Omdurman after a distinguished professional and national career filled with giving and dedication in the service of Sudan.
Mufadal affirmed that the deceased was a prominent leader who contributed sincerely to strengthening security andar diplomatic work, pointing to his extensive experience in the Horn of Africa and Middle East studies, and his active participation in representing the country at the regional and international levels.
He added that the deceased was known for his integrity, high competence, and constant concern for the nation’s interests. He set an exemplary model of loyalty and devotion, stressing that his death represents a great loss to the nation and the Intelligence Service. Lieutenant General Mufadal concluded by praying to God Almighty to have mercy on the deceased and to grant him a place in heaven, and to inspire his family, relatives, and colleagues with patience and solace.
