Egypt Condemns Targeting Vital Facilities in Port Sudan and Kassala

The Arab Republic of Egypt condemned the targeting of infrastructure and vital facilities in the cities of Port Sudan and Kassala.
In a statement issued Sunday,, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the need to preserve the resources of the Sudanese people, refrain from targeting infrastructure and various civilian facilities, and preserve the unity and stability of Sudan.

Egypt emphasized that targeting civilian infrastructure harms efforts to restore stability in Sudan and hinders efforts to enhance access to humanitarian aid for the Sudanese people.

Egypt called for a ceasefire to preserve the resources of the Sudanese people.
