SCEFA Visits Al-Tameh Basic School in Shaqla North

The Sudanese Coalition for Education for All (SCEFA), in partnership with UNICEF and the International Organization for Child and Family Care, visited Al-Tameh Basic School in Shaqla North and provided support in the form of notebooks, pens, school bags, sports equipment, and educational aids, under the supervision of the Humanitarian Khatwa initiative in the northern Shaqla neighborhood.
The management of the Khatwa initiative thanked the Sudanese Coalition for their appreciated support for schools affected by the war, which is helping to push the wheel of education forward. Khatwa appealed to the Sudanese Coalition for Education for All to generalize support to the rest of the schools in the neighborhood, such as Tamih School, so that the joy is complete and the benefit prevails. The Khatwa initiative praised the efforts made by the Sudanese Coalition for Education for All.
It is worth noting that Sudanese Coalition for Education for All is the organisation established in 2005, working in the field of education, with the aim to unite efforts, share experiences, and enhance the skills of its members and young people in Sudan. The organisation dedicates significant effort in building students’ skills and capacities to support their continuity in the educational journey.
The Sudanese Coalition for Education for All conducted life skills and paradigm shift training sessions using the AflaToun curriculum, which, according to the organisation, has contributed to a reduction in school dropouts.
The Sudanese Coalition for Education for All consist of 55 entities of non-governmental organisations, syndicates, and unions working together for socio- economic development in target societies. SCEFA helps strengthen their capacities and implementation humanitarian, and protection interventions with an participatory approach at all levels of community, in order to defeat poverty and ignorance and achieve education for all, in a stable and safe environment.
