The meeting of the Federal Emergency Operations Center revealed that the rate of dengue fever has returned to rise during the past week, recording (97) new infections, most of them in a number of localities in Khartoum state (Karari, Bahri, East Nile, Omdurman) next to the Tawila locality in North Darfur, while cholera infection decreased by recording only two infections.

The meeting confirmed today, Tuesday, in the center’s hall at the Public Health Laboratory in Kassala today, that the accumulation of cholera infections from the beginning of the disease amounted to (58,848) infections, including (1565) deaths in (88) localities from (12) states, announcing the monitoring of (144) cases of hepatitis C confined to the camp east of the airport in Kassala locality, which requires urgent intervention, and the contribution of organizations, especially global health.
