SFPA – River Nile State – Signs Contract for Rehabilitating Shendi Hospital

The headquarters of the Sudanese Family Planning Association – River Nile State Branch, witnessed yesterday the signature of a contract with Tam Company to carry out maintenance and rehabilitation works for the delivery room at Shendi Hospital, with the support of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), as part of the ongoing efforts to improve reproductive health services and enhance the quality of maternal health care.

This project aims at providing a safe and equipped environment that meets the needs of women during childbirth, thus contributing to improving the quality of health services and reducing the risks associated with childbirth, within the framework of partnerships supporting the development of health facilities in the state.
