Khartoum Governor: Creative people are the most suitable to treat the secretions of war in society

Khartoum State continued its celebrations of the 69th anniversary of independence yesterday, and within the (Communication) program, Khartoum Governor, Ahmed Osman Hamza, visited today a number of national symbols in the fields of creativity and various arts.
The visit included the poet and media figure, Abdel Wahab Halawi, the distinguished actor Al-Tayeb Shaarawy, and the teacher of generations, journalist and athlete Issa Al-Sarraj, in the presence of Captain Faisal Al-Hanan, head of the Athletes Initiative.
The visit also included the head of directors at the national television, the distinguished director Sayed Mahmoud.
The governor confirmed that this visit comes within the interest of the state government and its keenness to learn about the conditions of the symbols of society who were affected by the war.
The governor pointed out that while the state is fighting the war of dignity, it became clear to it that the parties leading the strife in the country have deliberately incited tribal and racist sentiments and sought to mobilize collaborators by using tribalism, stressing that the creative people are more suitable than others to restore national unity and employ their creative product to address the great rift in the midst of society, restore national unity, mend the social fabric, strengthen national unity and preserve heritage.
The governor of Khartoum added that the state has paid attention to the importance of preserving the history of Sudan and preserving the rights of the generations that built the Sudanese legacy. Therefore, the state government has directed the Ministry of Culture and Information to collect and document the experiences of these creative people in appreciation of their contributions in all fields.
