IGAD Congratulates Sudan on Independence Anniversary

The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) posted a congratulatory message on the occassion of Sudan’s Independence anniversary:

Despite the immense challenges of the ongoing conflict, Sudan’s legacy as a founding IGAD member and a global leader in hosting refugees remains a source of pride and inspiration.

IGAD reaffirms its unwavering support for Sudan’s path toward peace, stability, and rebuilding.
Together, we remain committed to fostering a future of hope and resilience for the Sudanese people.
