Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Ali Mufaddal, Director General of the General Intelligence Service, Lieutenant General Mohamed Abbas Al-Labib, Deputy Director General, officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers of the GIS, extend to the Head of the Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, 1st. Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan Abdel Rahman, to the Deputy Head of the Sovereignty Council, Malik Agar Ayre, to the distinguished members of the Sovereignty Council, to the Chief of the Judiciary, to the Acting Prime Minister and members of the Council of Ministers, to the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces and his deputies, to the Director General of the Police Forces, and to the masses of the great Sudanese people, their warmest congratulations and blessings on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of the Glorious Independence Day.

This is the day on which we remember the heroism of our people, and we sense the meanings of freedom and pride that were sealed by the sacrifices of generations and the struggles of fathers and grandfathers who created for us unforgettable glory and priceless freedom, and who offered the most precious and valuable for the sake of this homeland and its dignity.

The anniversary of the Independence comes upon us while our country is experiencing exceptional circumstances, direct aggression, and regional and international conspiracies that our people have bravely confronted.
All our regular forces have stood up to them with merit, sacrificing their lives and precious things in defense of the country and to protect the homeland.

In this regard, we extend our special greetings and appreciation to the efforts of our honorable brothers, the members of the GIS in all parts of Sudan, who stand steadfastly in the front lines, shouldering the responsibility of protecting the homeland and the citizen, and contributing with all dedication to enhancing security and stability, despite the delicate circumstances our country is experiencing.

Our noble people, despite the great challenges facing our beloved country, we pledge to you that we in the GIS, and with all military and security institutions, will do our utmost to preserve your security and safety, and to work with you hand in hand towards building a better future for our beloved country.

The promise and covenant is that no harm will befall Sudan and no harm will surround the country, as long as there is a pulse in our veins and an eye that blinks.

We ask God Almighty that happy occasions return to us, and that Sudan has returned to being an oasis of goodness and prosperity, and that love endures among all members of our noble people from north to south and from east to west, and that security and peace are achieved.

May God have mercy on the martyrs, heal the wounded, and reunite the prisoners and missing.
