Khartoum Governor stresses importance of enhancing efforts to provide services in support of citizens’ stability

Khartoum Governor,
Ahmed Osman Hamza, renewed the state government’s commitment to supporting efforts aimed at providing basic life requirements in areas that have been cleared of rebellion with the aim of enabling citizens to return to their homes that they were forced to leave due to the practices of the terrorist Rapid Support militia that looted their property and displaced them.
This came during the extensive inspection tour conducted by the Governor of Khartoum to a number of neighborhoods in Old Omdurman, accompanied by the Executive Director of the locality, Mr. Saif El-Din Mukhtar.
During the visit, the Governor provided in-kind and food supplies to support the centres of providing free foodvas part of the state government’s efforts to alleviate the suffering of citizens affected by the war.
The Governor praised the armed forces and the forces participating in the Battle of Dignity, which contributed to cleansing the region of rebellion, restoring security and stability to it, and ensuring the return of normal life to those areas.
He directed the local authorities of Omdurman to immediately begin responding to citizens’ demands, which are represented in improving the environment by organizing a spraying campaign to combat disease vectors and mosquitoes, providing electricity to areas that have not yet reached it, in addition to stabilizing the water supply and treating fractures.
A number of citizens who met the Governor expressed their thanks for the efforts made by the state government and the sacrifices of the armed forces to restore security in their areas, demanding more support to complete the reconstruction process and return life to normal.
