Khartoum Security Committee congratulates on Independence Day, calls on citizens to consider emergency orders measures

Khartoum State Security Committee, in its meeting today headed by the Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman Hamza, congratulated the citizens of the state on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of the glorious independence, calling on citizens to consider emergency orders during celebrations and to abide by not firing bullets, ammunition and fireworks and to abide by traffic controls when driving cars and not to throw stones at passersby.
The committee also called on citizens not to pay attention to the information circulated by the media about security lapses and to communicate with the competent authorities to obtain information from its sources and that the security committee is capable of controlling any violations in the context.
The committee called for continuing to resolve negative phenomena and strengthening the work of the joint patrol and the security cell.

Meanwhile, the committee monitored the progress of the secondary school certificate exams and praised the efforts made by all parties, which helped to conduct the exams in a stable atmosphere.

The committee also confirmed the controls that were put in place for the gradual return of Khartoum North citizens.
The committee reviewed its performance report for the year 2024, and the meeting confirmed the continuation of developing plans and programs to confront the openness to new areas in the series of victories of the Battle of Dignity and developing insurance plans.
