Al-Burhan meets a delegation from the Fur Shura Council of Elders

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st. Lt. Gen. Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, met today with a delegation from the Fur Shura Council of Elders. Al-Damanqawi Sisi Fadl Sisi, Head of the Civil Administration in Central Darfur State and Deputy Chairman of the Fur Shura Council of Elders, said in a press statement that the meeting addressed the overall situation in the country and the importance of unifying the national ranks to support and assist the armed forces in the battle of dignity and pride to defeat the terrorist militia.
He pointed out that the delegation congratulated the Head of the Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief, on the successive victories achieved by the armed forces, the joint forces and the mobilized in the theaters of military operations.
He added that the meeting comes within the framework of consultation and deliberation regarding supporting the battle of dignity, pointing to the efforts made by the Shura Council in a number of states to mobilize support to confront the rebellion of the Al-Dagalo family and eliminate the terrorist militia to achieve security, stability and peace in Sudan.
