Nile Valley University receives the Turkish Educational Attaché

In the framework of enhancing scientific and research cooperation with relevant authorities, Nile Valley University received the Educational Attaché at the Turkish Embassy in Sudan, Mr. Yukhan Bozbash, where he was received by the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Hassan Al-Sa’im, his Deputy, Dr. Al-Amin Al-Tayeb Al-Tahir, and a number of deans and directors of the university’s research centers.

Professor Al-Sa’im expressed his welcome to the Educational Attaché, affirming the university’s scientific and academic progress, the spread of its colleges in the community, and its role and contribution at the level of the state community and the country in general.

During the comprehensive meeting of the deans of colleges and research centers, they discussed cooperation and integration with Turkish universities through joint programs and projects in the field of community service, in addition to investment programs, besides exchanging experiences between faculty members between the two countries, student visits, and programs that serve the state in the fields of agriculture, mining, and others, in addition to teaching the Turkish language through the Language and Translation Center at the university.

In continuation to his visit program to the Nile Valley University, the Nile Valley Center for Documentation and Ethnographic Studies, the university organized a visit to the archaeological sites in Berber.
Dr. Yuhan Bozbash, the educational attaché at the Turkish Embassy in Sudan, visited the Turkish antiquities in the city of Berber, represented by the city of pilgrims, the palace of the Turkish army serdar and the tombs, in addition to the dyeing (indigo basins).
The delegation of the educational attaché of the Turkish embassy, ​​accompanied by the university Vice-Chancellor and a number of deans and directors of the centers, listened to an enlightenment about the archaeological sites and the role of Turkish civilization in the spread of education and the prosperity of trade in the city of Berber, in the presence of the Deputy Executive Director of Berber Locality and notables of the city of Berber.
This was followed by a symposium on Turkish civilization at the Berber Public Library presented by historian Tawfiq Muhyiddin, who introduced the role of Turkish civilization in the spread of education and the prosperity of trade in Berber via the Hajj route from Africa, considering that Berber was a major station for pilgrim caravans.

At the end of his speech, Dr. Yuhan Bozbash, the educational attaché at the Turkish Embassy in Sudan, announced a scholarship for postgraduate studies to study history at Turkish universities, dedicated to the sons of Berber.
