Al-Burhan arrives in Asmara

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st. Lt. Gen. Abdu lFattah Al-Burhan, arrived today in the Eritrean capital, Asmara, on an official visit.
He was received at Asmara International Airport by President Isaias Afwerki and members of the Sudanese mission to the State of Eritrea.
An official reception ceremony was held for the Head of the Sovereignty Council.

Al-Burhan will hold talks with President Isaias Afwerki on ways to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries and advance them in a way that achieves the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples. In addition to issues of common interest.

Al-Burhan is accompanied during the visit by the Minister of Culture and Information, Khalid Al-Aiser, and the Director of the General Intelligence Service, Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal.
