Foreign Minister meetschis Egyptian counterpart

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hussein Awad Ali, met with his Egyptian counterpart, Ambassador Badr Abdel Aati, on the sidelines of the high-level week meetings of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The Minister expressed the Sudanese government’s thanks and appreciation to the Arab Republic of Egypt for its supportive and steadfast position on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Sudan in all international and regional forums.

For his part, the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed Egypt’s keenness on the security and stability of Sudan, and stressed the importance of coordination in the common interests of the two countries, at all levels, confirming the historical and eternal ties between the two countries.

The two parties agreed to exchange visits, for further cooperation and coordination on issues of common interest.
