Jaber, calls for encouraging and activating all energies and mechanisms for reconstruction and development

Member of the Sovereignty Council, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General, Ibrahim Jaber, called for attention to building the human being and then focusing on education and rejecting tribalism in preparation for the reconstruction and development stage, stressing his optimism about building a strong, developed and advanced Sudan.
He added, when addressing the Khartoum State Reconstruction and Recovery Workshop organized by the state in Port Sudan, that the Industry Law has begun to be implemented on the ground and that the Investment Law is in the drafting stage, which are two important laws for developing industry and attracting investment for reconstruction and development, noting that there are directives to the governors that the state is organizing and monitoring general performance according to the foundations and laws that regulate the movement of capital, stressing the need for any state to produce its own products in which it has comparative advantages, such as the oil and flour industry in Gedaref, and fruit canning and juice in the North, and so on.
Jaber said that the major issue of the state is the employment of young people, calling for benefiting from the experience of Singapore and Rwanda in rejecting tribalism and relying on education and looking at the experiences of Vietnam, Korea and Thailand in developing skills, industries, qualification and training.
