Al-Burhan calls for holding conflict-inciting countries accountable

Head of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council, Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, participated in the virtual presidential summit “The Global Call for the Future Summit”, which discussed countries’ preparations for the Future Summit at the United Nations.

In his speech, Al-Burhan called for an international charter to be a roadmap for countries affected by conflicts, with the need for international commitment to prevent interference in their internal affairs and criminalize those involved.
He also called for the charter to include effective mechanisms to hold conflict-inciting countries accountable and take measures to protect countries from their escalation.
