Sudan achieves great gains during the recent visit to China, Says Foreign Minister

Foreign Minister Ambassador Hussein Awad considered the visit of the Sudanese delegation headed by the Head of the Sovereignty Council, 1st. Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, and participation in the China-Africa Cooperation Forum, a successful visit that achieved great gains for Sudan in all fields.
The Foreign Minister indicated in his speech to a radio conference program that the visit came within the framework of the African-Chinese partnership, indicating that it achieved positive results that contribute to strengthening Chinese-African relations.
He noted that the Head of the Sovereignty Council received a warm reception, which indicates the Chinese side’s interest in developing relations with Sudan in addition to the position that China places on Sudan.
The Foreign Minister said that meetings and discussions were held on the sidelines of the forum with the heads of a large number of African countries and African institutions that discussed important issues related to the course of the security situation in Sudan, indicating that these meetings have a positive impact on Sudan’s relations with its regional surroundings.
