Agar meets National Mechanism of the Fulani Tribe to Support and Advocate for the Armed Forces Delegation

Deputy Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Malik Agar Ayre, praised the great role that the native administration has continued to play in mending the social fabric, rejecting tribal and regional differences, and striving to spread peace, community security, and peaceful coexistence.

During his meeting with the delegation from the National Mechanism of the Fulani Tribe to Support and Advocate for the Armed Forces in his office today in Port Sudan, Agar was briefed on the overall programs proposed and the goals undertaken by the mechanism in strengthening civil and community peace, pledging to overcome all obstacles and administrative challenges that hinder the work of the mechanism.

For his part, retired Brigadier General Sheikh Ahmed Abdul Jabbar, the acting head of the mechanism, said that the delegation also briefed the Deputy of the TSC on a number of activities and programs undertaken by the National Mechanism for the Fulani tribe, including preparing and training those mobilized to fight in the ranks of the armed forces and stand with them in the Battle of Dignity, in addition to withdrawing members of the tribe who were thrown into fighting in the ranks of the rebel Rapid Support Militia.
He added that the mechanism has prepared a well-thought-out media plan to expose the atrocities and violations of the rebel militia.
