Minister of Youth and Sports Hails Clubs Initiative

Minister of Youth and Sports Hazar Abdul Rasool said that the Premier Clubs Initiative to support the Sudanese Armed Forces confirms the awareness and patriotism of athletes and their rallying around the army, and is considered a great boost for the army in confronting the external invasion and in the battle of dignity, adding that the initiative constitutes a great moral boost for the Sudanese Armed Forces and came in conjunction with the celebration of the army’s anniversary.
She condemned the assassination attempt of the Head of the Sovereignty Council in Jabeit.

She revealed that the ministry is organizing sports programs in the states in support of the army, which include honoring the leaders and soldiers of the army
” Sports constitute an embassy, ​​and the evidence is that despite the country’s circumstances, it participates in the Paris Olympics and the Sudanese flag is flying there, and this is a message to the whole world.” The Minister added

Hazar indicated in a press statement that youth constitute 65% of the population, and this is one of the advantages of Sudan, and called on youth to reflect the reality to the whole world and the ability of Sudanese youth to rally around the country’s army.

The Minister stressed that the government deals with a deep understanding in serving the citizen, noting that the initiative is considered a service to the homeland and that it is the culmination of great efforts and tireless work between the Premier League clubs, the Ministry, and the Football Federation, under the auspices of the Deputy Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Malik Agar, on the eighth of this month, through presenting sports shows, youth activities, and collecting donations and support for the armed forces. Hazar sent a message to all athletes and women in eastern Sudan to participate in the initiative in support of the army and rally around it to confront the country’s enemies.
The Minister stressed that sports are present in the shelters through chess activities and others, and have created a deep social fabric.
She said that the issue of supporting international stars is one of the concerns that preoccupy the ministry, especially since they live in harsh and bitter conditions in life due to the absence of support, noting that we are working with partners to crystallize an idea that leads to solutions that provide a permanent source of income for these players, and she promised to meet with the players to discuss the issue.
