Sudanese ambassador in Cairo meets EPA delegation

The Sudanese Embassy in Cairo witnessed an open dialogue between the Sudanese Ambassador to Egypt, Lieutenant General Imad al-Din Adawi, with the Electronic Press Association (EPA) Delegation in Egypt.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Head of the Association, Imad al-Din al-Senussi, the Deputy Secretary-General, Marwan al-Rayah al-Sanhouri, and the Executive Director of the Association’s office in Cairo, Muhammad Ismail Debkrawi.

During the meeting, Ambassador Adawi praised the role played by the EPA in exposing the practices of the rebel Rapid Support militia and its violations and crimes against the Sudanese people, land and history. He called on the Association to continue to make known what is happening in Sudan, clarify the facts, open dialogues and discussions, and help the Arab and foreign media to know the truth about this rebel militia and the countries that support it in order to erase Sudan’s history and loot its wealth.

The ambassador also called on the media to play positive roles in a way that strengthens Egyptian-Sudanese relations, especially in light of the honorable and supportive positions of Sudan since the beginning of the crisis and the clear bias on the part of Cairo towards the Sudanese legitimate and constitutional institutions.

For his part, the Deputy Head of the Association, Imad al-Din al-Senussi, appreciated the efforts of the Sudanese Ambassador to Egypt, Lieutenant General Imad al-Din Adawi, in promoting and developing relations between the two brotherly countries and his continuous efforts to resolve the problems of Sudanese residents in Egypt.

He also praised what the Egyptian state is providing, particularly the presidential institution, led by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, in supporting the Sudanese in Egypt and providing all facilities, whether at the level of residency or work procedures.
