Jaber receives Shura Council of the Zaghawa tribe delegation

Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Jaber met today with a delegation of the Shura Council of the Zaghawa tribe, headed by Engineer Saleh Abdullah Ahmed Bahr, Chairman of the Council.

The head of the Zaghawa Shura Council said in a press statement that the meeting comes within the framework of the tribe’s participation in the general mobilization campaign taking place in the country and its support for the armed forces in the Battle of Dignity.

He affirmed the readiness of the members of the tribe in all states of Darfur to participate in the mobilization campaign in defense of Sudan’s sovereignty, unity and stability, and the keenness of the tribe’s Shura Council to attract the necessary support for all those mobilizing from the tribe and all states of Darfur to defeat the rebellion.
