River Nile State to Rehabilitate Atbara Airport

River Nile State has begun rehabilitating, modernizing, developing and expanding Atbara Airport to accommodate cargo flights and contribute to marketing the state’s products in foreign markets.
The Governor of River Nile State, Dr. Muhammad Al-Badawi Abdel-Majed Abu Quroun, announced the kick-off the major step in order to contribute to providing the necessary funding to develop and rehabilitate the airport to involve all sectors of society in this major strategic project, announcing the launch of the Nile activities next Sunday.
The state government in Ed-Damer, with the participation of members of the security committee and the state government called on all companies, businessmen chambers of commerce, economic institutions, and employers’ unions to participate in the mobilization activities.
