Federal Emergency Operations Center, in its weekly meeting in the center hall of the Public Health Laboratory in Kassala, reviewed in its weekly meeting the report on the epidemiological situation in the country, which showed the recording of new cases of cholera in a number of states, as well as dengue fever and malaria, while it also reviewed the report of the second phase of the national campaign for vaccination against cholera, and the position of implementing the campaign. Regarding the second phase of vaccination against cholera, which he presented on behalf of the Expanded Program on Immunization, Nader Hammad pointed out that the tour was carried out in 3 localities in the Red Sea, two localities in Kassala, and one locality in the White Nile, revealing that the implementation rate was 98.9%, as the target number reached 1,902,040 people. 1,867,157 people were actually vaccinated during the period from February 7-12*.
