Circles: Sudan Keenness to Strengthen Neighboring relations

Ethiopian Premier Dr. Abiy Ahmed visited Sudan on Tuesday for the first time since the border tensions between the two countries besides the dispute over the of filling of GERD.
Abiy Ahmed and his high-level delegation was warmly welcomed by the 1st Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah El-Burhan, President of Sovereignty Council and the 1st Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo Deputy of The President of Sovereignty.
Abiy Ahmed’s talks witness dealt with bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop it in different fields, as well as border issues and GERD.
According to the joint communiqué statement, with regard to dispute on the border between two countries, Burhan confirmed that technical mechanisms and dialogue as the basses for this issue. Abiy Ahmed confirmed that GERD will not cause any harm to Sudan. Abiy Ahmed held meetings with political forces and resistance committees and besides his meetings with the Tripartite Mechanism headed by Folker.
Abiy Ahmed called on the Sudanese political powers to achieve sensuous for the sake of achieving political stability in Sudan .
Abiy Ahmed’s visit to Sudan made a major breakthrough in Sudanese- Ethiopian relations and opens a new page between Khartoum and Addis Ababa.
In the other side Abiy, Ahmed visit to Khartoum carried another hidden agenda, according to political observers, they pointed to the emergence of border tensions between Eretria and Ethiopia because of Tigray and Abiy Ahmed wanted to explain his view regarding this matter to the Sudanese side, in particular to neutralize it.
Sudan is a country that has a regional and International weight and it surrounded by a number of neighboring Arab and African countries. Sudan is keen, within strategic goals of its external relations, to establish balanced relations that would achieve the supreme interests of the country, Sudan’s relations with a neighboring country shall not be an opponent of another neighboring country.
In the way of keeping good relations with the neighboring countries , Commander -in – Chief The President of Sovereignty Council 1st Lt. Abed Fattah AL-Burhan accompanying with a high level delegation including acting minister of foreign affairs ambassador Ali Sadiq and First lieutenant ‘security “ Ahmed Ibrahim Mufadal and General Mohammed Ali Sobair .leaving for Chad today in a visit for strengthen the bilateral relations and coordination ,cooperation together particularly in fighting the terrorism and the scattered groups spread in the joint border which threat the security between the two neighboring countries and regional security, holding summit talks between AL Burhan And the President of transitional period of the Republic of Chad Lieutenant general Mohammed Idriss Debby which we hope that it will be fruitful.
Sudan always playing a vital and positive role in its Arab and African surroundings, and at the regional and international levels. The visit of Al-Burhan to Chad can strengthen the bilateral relations in different fields particularly in the field of security and military cooperation, considering the deep rooted relations between the people of the two countries.
