FFC-Democratic Bloc meets Ethiopian Prime Minister

The Forces of Freedom and Change (FFC)-Democratic Bloc met today at the Republican Palace, the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Abiy Ahmed and discussed the historical relations between Sudan and Ethiopia.

The deputy head of the Forces of Freedom and Change-Democratic Bloc, Dr. Jibril Ibrahim, said in a press statements after the meeting that the bloc met with Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and affirmed the strength of relations between the two countries and explained the bloc’s position on the framework agreement and its vision about it and explained that it does not achieve the desired national aspirations, and there must be a comprehensive national accord.

Dr. Ibrahim pointed out that they need the help of others, but the agreement must be Sudanese-Sudanese, noting that Abiy Ahmed said that the solution must be purely Sudanese.

For his part, Mohamed Hamad Saeed, representative of the National Forces Bloc of Freedom and Change, said that there is no solution from outside Sudan for the political issues as the Sudanese are known with their wisdom.

Saeed announced their readiness to sit all together to solve outstanding issues, and that all Sudanese are partners.
