Garaham affirms firmness of Sudanese-Egyptian relations

Minister of Culture and Information, Dr Garaham Abdel-Gadir on Monday met with the Egyptian ambassador to Sudan, Hani Salah and the counselor, Radhwa Khalil.
The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of Ministry of Culture and Information, Dr Nasr-Eddin Ahmed Mohamed.
The meeting looked into reactivation and development of relations between the two countries in all fields.
The Minister of Culture and Information welcomed the visit of the Egyptian ambassador and said that the relationship is extended and deeply- rooted which have apparent effect on fields of culture and training.
The Minister also welcomed the joint cooperation to hold activities, nights and cultural intellectual Symposiums that attract veterans and stars of thought to link the past with the present.
Dr Garaham forwarded several initiatives to be implemented by the two countries as soon as possible.
The Egyptian ambassador said in a press statement following the meeting that the meeting discussed the roadmap for coming stage on organizing and developing the cultural and media work between the two countries in addition to issue of code of ethics on media between the two countries for organizing the work in the upcoming stage.
The two sides agreed upon importance of reactivating and developing cultural work and holding joint cultural, artistic and sport events during the coming period.
