TSC member assured on stability of security situation in N. Darfur

Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) and Chairman of the Association of Sudan Liberation Forces Al-Taher Hajar affirmed that the North Darfur State is witnessing security stability.

This came when he met in El-Fasher , capital of North Darfur State yesterday with Wali (governor) of North Darfur State, Nimir Mohamed Abdel-Rahman and members of his government

Nimir said in a statement to SUNA that the meeting discussed issues of education, health and water as well as efforts made by the state government in this connection.

He added that the TSC member has directed the federal health ministry and organizations to support North Darfur State in areas of health and water.

Nimir added that agreement was reached during the meeting on deploying a joint force to protect the roads in the region and removing the all illegal fees points along the roads

Wali of North Darfur State further added that the meeting with the TSC Member also looked into issues of covering the state with telecommunication network and the unlicensed vehicles in the state.
