Editorial: Desperate RSF Aggression Drones 

The terrorist RSF militia has found no other way to remind the world of its existence than by launching reckless drones.

In recent days, the rebel militia has suffered a series of setbacks.

Most importantly, it has suffered significant field losses in Kordofan and Darfur in general, losses in its battles along the export route, and the destruction of costly and impactful air defense systems.

It has also suffered painful blows in its attempts to outflank and attack Hamrat al-Wiz and its surroundings.

Equally important is the shift of the Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue from within the country and the transfer of the center of gravity of international efforts to Khartoum, whose entrances and exits were previously controlled by the barbaric RSF militia. There is a growing conviction that the criminal RSF militia is an entity that cannot be tolerated except through dismantling and fragmentation.

There are also the important UN reports that have revealed logistical and political support networks that the criminal RSF militia receives from the Abu Dhabi government.

In light of these developments, it was not surprising that the militia launched a wave of desperate drones, beginning yesterday with an attempt to target the Kenana area in White Nile State, targeted the cities of the capital region this morning. Thankfully, they were successfully repelled, though some shrapnel fell on citizens’ homes.

Despair has its own rules and characteristics, especially suicidal acts, and this is one of them.
