Algeria Announces Severing of Diplomatic Ties with the UAE

Algeria announced the severing of its diplomatic relations with the United Arab Emirates, according to state television on Thursday, following years of tension between the two countries, particularly after Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune accused Abu Dhabi of interfering in his country’s internal affairs.

The television station broadcast a breaking news report stating, “Algeria has decided to sever its diplomatic relations with the United Arab Emirates after exhausting all means to preserve bilateral relations.”
