NSWF Declares Maximum Emergency for Reconstruction of Student Complexes

The National Students Welfare Fund (NSWF) has declared a state of maximum emergency, signaling the commencement of the third phase of the project to reconstruct student housing complexes damaged by the war in Khartoum State and several other states.

Accordingly, the Secretary-General of the NSWF, Dr. Ahmed Hamza Al-Amin, issued a decision during an emergency meeting of the Executive Office in Khartoum, forming a specialized committee to oversee the implementation of the Board of Trustees’ decisions and recommendations. He directed the Fund’s branches in the states to enter a state of emergency and work continuously throughout the week to complete the requirements of this phase according to the approved timeline.

Furthermore, the Secretary-General affirmed that the Fund will exert its utmost efforts to support higher education institutions and enable Sudanese universities to resume their academic activities from their original campuses by providing a safe and integrated residential environment that contributes to student stability and supports their academic progress.
