In the Presence of the Minister of Social Development, Khatwa Humanity Organization Participates in the First “Marriage of Dignity”

Responding to a gracious invitation from the East Nile Organization for Persons with Disabilities, Khatwa Humanity Organization participated on Saturday in the First “Marriage of Dignity” Initiative, represented by its President, Banda John, and the Secretary-General, Al-Sadiq Ismail, reaffirming the organization’s commitment to supporting humanitarian and community initiatives that promote solidarity, compassion, and social cohesion.

The event was organized by the Suwar Al-Rahma Charity Organization in collaboration with Aba Dhar Al-Kouda Schools, Idris Jalal Schools, and a number of Quranic schools (Khalwas). It was held at Al-Tadamun Club in Al-Jereif East, East Nile Locality, with broad participation from government officials, community leaders, civil society organizations, and local residents.

The ceremony was honored by the presence of Khartoum State Minister of Social Development, Sadiq Farini, alongside the Executive Director of East Nile Locality, Mortada Yaqoub Banqa, in addition to several senior government officials, representatives of civil society organizations, and community figures.

Representatives of Khatwa Humanity Organization stated that their participation reflects the organization’s mission of strengthening social solidarity and supporting initiatives that help ease the economic burden on families while fostering a culture of cooperation, compassion, and mutual support within society.

The mass wedding ceremony was marked by a festive atmosphere that reflected the spirit of unity and cooperation between public institutions and community organizations. It also highlighted the importance of partnerships among civil society organizations in advancing humanitarian initiatives that support young people, help establish stable families, contribute to social stability, and reinforce the values of solidarity across the community.
