The ongoing war in the country has prevented the completion of the integration of armed movement forces into the Sudanese army, says Minnawi

Darfur, Governor, Minni Arko Minnawi, asserted that only about 5% of the Juba Peace Agreement has been implemented, claiming that calls for its amendment are based on what he termed “racist” motives.
In statements to Al-Hadath TV, Minawi explained that the movements allied with the armed forces are not seeking to retain their weapons, noting that the ongoing war in the country has prevented the completion of the integration of armed movement forces into the Sudanese army.
Regarding the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), Minnawi described the defections within them as “normal,” considering the RSF to be a “family organization”.
The governor of Darfur reiterated his commitment to continuing military operations, emphasizing the determination of the forces allied with the army to recapture the remaining areas of Darfur.
