Teachers’ Medical City Set to Open Soon as Education Workers’ Union Reviews Final Preparations

Khartoum –The General Education Workers’ Union of Sudan has reviewed the final arrangements for the opening of the Teachers’ Medical City during a meeting between the Union’s President, Abbas Mohammed Ahmed Habiballah, members of the Executive Office, and Major General Amir Ibrahim Fadlallah, Director of the Engineering Office of the Supreme Commander of the Sudanese Armed Forces. The meeting was also attended by Retired Major General Sami, Director of Teachers’ Hospital.

Officials announced that the Teachers’ Medical City is expected to open soon, with all civil construction works scheduled for completion by the end of next week.

The Union’s delegation also met with representatives of the companies carrying out the maintenance and construction works. The companies have additionally contributed to the renovation of the General Education Workers’ Union Mosque as part of their support for community service and public welfare projects.
