Sudanese Red Crescent Society Concludes Branch Evaluation and Development Planning Workshop in Omdurman

Omdurman – The Sudanese Red Crescent Society (SRCS), Khartoum State Branch, has concluded a workshop on branch evaluation and development planning, held with support from the Swedish Red Cross and attended by representatives from the branches of Khartoum, River Nile, and Northern states.
The final day featured institutional assessment sessions, during which the three participating branches presented performance reports highlighting their key achievements over the past period. Participants also discussed challenges, priority needs, and development plans aimed at strengthening institutional performance and enhancing the efficiency of humanitarian work.
The closing session was attended by Mohammed Al-Habib, Ahmed Abdelrahman Simoza, Dr. Moatasim Al-Sayed Hashem, Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Khartoum State Branch, and Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Ali, Director of the Khartoum State Branch, along with representatives from the participating states.
Participants emphasized the importance of continuing evaluation and development workshops, describing them as valuable opportunities to exchange experiences, unify perspectives, and strengthen coordination among branches. They noted that such efforts contribute to improving institutional performance and enhancing humanitarian response in line with the Society’s objectives.
