For her part, Ms. Kawthar Mohamed Ibrahim, Executive Director of SFPA – River Nile Branch – affirmed their support for rural areas in the River Nile State through mobile clinics providing health and awareness services.

She stated that there is a plan targeting rural areas during the autumn season to mitigate the risk of epidemics.

Medical Assistant Arif Hussein Osman, Director of the Tiat Health Center, praised the corporate social responsibility program of national companies in supporting the rural health sector and providing free medication during the critical circumstances the country is facing.

He emphasized the need for the Ministry of Health to develop a plan to upgrade rural health service centers in River Nile State, stressing that power outages cause the spoilage of medications and a lack of oxygen equipment for emergency cases.
