Human Resources Ministry Reviews Displacement Conditions in Northern State, Emphasizes Integrated Social Support Efforts

Khartoum –Dr. Abu Bakr Koko Dahiya Idris, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Welfare, received at his office, Ms. Manal Makawi, Secretary-General for Social Affairs in the Northern State.
The meeting discussed the current situation of displaced people at Al-Afadd Camp and other displacement camps across the Northern State. Manal briefed the Undersecretary on the conditions and urgent needs of displaced communities, as well as the state’s plan for the 1,000 Marriages Project aimed at supporting social stability.
Makawi praised the significant role played by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Welfare in providing services and assistance to displaced people and vulnerable groups, particularly those at Al-Afadd Camp.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Dr. Dahiya affirmed the importance of integrating efforts among various state institutions, strengthening coordination and cooperation, and working as one team to address social challenges. He also emphasized that modern administration relies on advanced mechanisms and effective management approaches.
