Human Resources Minister Participates in CAFRAD Forum in Morocco to Advance Public Administration Reform and Civil Service Development

His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare, Mutasim Ahmed Saleh, has arrived in Rabat, the capital of Morocco, for an official visit to participate in the 61st Ordinary Session of the Administrative Council of the African Training and Research Centre in Administration for Development (CAFRAD), as well as the 17th African Forum on Modernizing Public Administration and State Institutions, hosted by the Kingdom of Morocco with the participation of ministers, senior officials, and experts from various African countries.

Upon his arrival, the Minister was received by Her Excellency Ambassador Mawda Omar Haj Al-Tom, members of the diplomatic mission, and several officials from Morocco’s Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform.

Sudan’s participation in this session reflects its commitment to strengthening its active presence in specialized African organizations and benefiting from leading experiences and expertise in public administration reform, institutional capacity building, human resources development, and government leadership. These efforts support the country’s initiatives to modernize the civil service and enhance institutional performance.

During the forum, the Minister is scheduled to hold a number of bilateral meetings with participating officials and CAFRAD’s management to discuss ways of strengthening cooperation in civil service reform, government leadership development, vocational training, digital transformation, and exchange of expertise.

The discussions aim to support Sudan’s efforts to develop public administration and build more efficient, effective, and responsive state institutions aligned with sustainable development goals.
