Human Resources Minister Announces Results of Vocational Training Diploma Exams with 78% Overall Success Rate

The Minister of Human Resources and Social Welfare, Moatasim Ahmed Saleh, announced the results of the Vocational Training Diploma and Industrial Apprenticeship examinations for the 2024–2025 training year from Anwar Vocational Training and Industrial Apprenticeship Center in Al-Barasa area, Merowe Locality, Northern State.

The announcement was made in recognition of the center’s significant role and the contributions of the family of Sheikh Nur Al-Daim Al-Ajeimi in supporting vocational training and capacity building.

The Minister affirmed that the vocational training system has continued to fulfill its mission despite the exceptional circumstances imposed by the war. He noted that 3,127 students were enrolled in the program, while 2,350 students sat for the examinations, achieving an overall success rate of 78%. Female students recorded an outstanding success rate of 95%, reflecting the ability of Sudanese youth to excel when provided with the appropriate environment.

He emphasized that vocational training represents a key pillar in developing human capital and preparing qualified technical cadres capable of contributing to Sudan’s reconstruction, supporting the national economy, creating employment opportunities, and enhancing productivity.

The Minister congratulated all successful candidates, commending the efforts of training center administrations, instructors, examination committees, and everyone who contributed to the success of the training cycle.
He reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to continuing the development of the vocational training system, modernizing curricula, expanding training institutions, and strengthening links between training programs and labor market needs.

The Minister concluded by congratulating the graduates, stressing that investing in skills is the pathway to building people, and that human development remains the true foundation for Sudan’s progress.
