General Strike in Nyala Hospitals Continues

For the fourth consecutive day, hospitals in Nyala are on general strike following the arrest of two doctors by Rapid Support Forces intelligence four days ago, without any charges being filed or any legal proceedings being initiated.
This arrest has prompted medical staff to cease work.
Sources revealed that three doctors have permanently left Nyala in protest against the targeting of their colleagues.
The doctors are demanding the immediate release of the detained physicians, an end to the campaigns of intimidation and arrests targeting doctors, and a guarantee of their right to perform their humanitarian duties in a safe environment free from intimidation.
