Bakht Al-Ruda University Reaffirms Academic Mission and Post-War Development Plans

Bakht Al-Ruda University has reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining academic excellence and supporting the recovery of Sudan’s higher education sector during the post-war period.
At its first University Senate meeting of 2026, chaired by Vice-Chancellor Professor Moataz Bellah Bakri Ahmed Sayed Ahmed, the Senate approved postgraduate and undergraduate examination results, including programs completed during the war, highlighting the university’s resilience in ensuring educational continuity.
The meeting also endorsed plans to enhance academic quality, modernize administrative systems, and expand academic offerings. The university announced the upcoming launch of its Faculty of Engineering and a new scholarship initiative.
In addition, the Senate reviewed community-oriented initiatives, including a proposed drug awareness course and the establishment of an educational kindergarten by the Faculty of Economics.
The university concluded by reaffirming its commitment to institutional development and its role in rebuilding Sudan through education and scientific research.
