Strong Warning from the European Union to the RSF

Ambassador Wolfram Vetter, Head of the European Union Delegation to the Republic of Sudan, stated that the Rapid Support Forces’ policy of starving and besieging cities and strategic areas, as happened in Gezira, El-Fashir, Kadugli, and Dilling, and as is currently happening in Al-Rahad, Babanusa, Bara, and El-Obied, is unacceptable.

In a press release, he added: “The European Union is monitoring the humanitarian and field situation, and those responsible for these acts will face sanctions and be prosecuted indefinitely.”
