PM Denies Reports of 60% of State Employees Being Dismissed

Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris denied the existence of a recommendation before the Cabinet to dismiss 60% of employees in federal institutions, public bodies, and companies.

He said that the rumors circulating about a recommendation submitted by a committee to the Cabinet were “untrue and baseless.”

The Prime Minister stressed the need for accuracy and credibility in reporting news and developments related to strategic, important, and sensitive issues.

Idris indicated that the government’s priorities at this stage are the livelihood of citizens, reconstruction, achieving peace, and improving services, emphasizing that the state is working with complete transparency in fulfilling its duty towards the nation and its citizens.
