Minnawi Slams RSF atrocious in Darfur, affirms people’s steadfastness

On his Facebook page, Commander Minni Arko Minnawi, Governor of Darfur and Head of the Sudan Liberation Army Movement, posted the following:

Our people in the localities of North Darfur are suffering from forced displacement, looting of property, and violations committed by the Rapid Support Forces militia in a scheme aimed at emptying the land of its original inhabitants and replacing them with mercenaries and foreigners. But this scheme will not succeed. This land has been watered with the blood of its people throughout history, and its sons have offered millions of martyrs in defense of their honor and land. It will never be easy prey for anyone. And if anyone who dreams of establishing an emirate for the Dagalo family on our land thinks they will succeed, they are deluded. History will record that this dream was shattered against the rock of the people’s steadfastness and their adherence to their rights. Every project based on killing, displacement, and the theft of rights is destined to perish, and time will tell.
