Minnawi: I met with the Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General

On his Facebook page, Commander Minni Arko Minnawi, Governor of Darfur and Chairman of the Sudan Liberation Army Movement, wrote the following:

“Today, I met with the Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General, Mr. Pekka Havestu, in the capital. We discussed peace issues, the deteriorating humanitarian situation, ways to return citizens to their homes by addressing the root causes of displacement, and the search for abducted civilians. We also discussed how to deliver exams to our students in Chad.”
