Launch of Federal Supervision Training Workshop for the National Insecticide-Treated Mosquito Net Distribution Campaign

A Training of Trainers (ToT) workshop for federal supervision was launched today as part of the national campaign to distribute insecticide-treated mosquito nets (ITNs) in the Northern, White Nile, and North Kordofan states.

Hamza Sami Al-Jak, Director of the Vector Control Department, explained that the campaign targets internally displaced persons (IDP) camps in Northern State, specifically in Al-Dabbah locality. In White Nile State, the campaign covers four IDP camps in the localities of Kosti, Al-Salam, Al-Jabalain, and Tendelti, while in North Kordofan State, it targets IDP camps in Sheikan locality.
The campaign will continue for 20 days and aims to strengthen vector control efforts and protect the communities most vulnerable to vector-borne diseases.
